I joined Coastal Capital Group in 2014 to lead our Institutional business unit. As Managing Director, I advise institutional investors, primarily retirement plans, on matters concerning fiduciary responsibility and obligations, plan design, compliance, investment manager selection and monitoring, compliance, and vendor management.
After earning an MBA in 1991 and a BA in Business Administration in 1986, both from Marquette University, I began my career in institutional asset management. My experience spans working as a product specialist in the defined contribution space to overseeing global client relationship management functions for a $50 Billion investment advisory firm. Having the opportunity to take what I’ve learned over more than 26 years in the large plan institutional investment and retirement plan industry and use this experience to help people solve their problems is extremely gratifying.
Whether work or play, I’m passionate about finding solutions and fixing anything - whether it be a car, a house deck, or a broken sauce for whatever I’m trying to cook. My favorite thing to do after finishing yet another project is to share a glass of wine with my wife, listen to some music and play with our cats and dogs.
